fades.site

Legal Notice

Last updated: 24 October 2026.

fades.site is a small hosted web application in a testing and startup phase. The private path charges a fee. A creator collage with a promo link and a private price is published after the creator confirms the details; the creator is not charged, and each opener except an operator admin pays that price. Each opener pays in two Bitcoin payments: the creator's share straight to the creator's own wallet and the platform fee to this site. Creators set their own price, are paid directly by the buyer and handle their own taxes. The site never holds or sends the creator share. Those payment records are kept for 1 year. An operator admin can view the stored wallets and payment records. VIP is a separate optional fee for a higher rate limit and a configurable number of included premium private collages a day, tied to the browser session. Save the recovery code. It does not renew. The site is not a decentralized network. Source may be published separately; the running service stores data on hosted infrastructure. The legal operator name, registration, tax status, and physical address are not yet finalised and remain a launch blocker for commercial use.

1. Site Operator & Contact

The service is operated by the fades.site development team while a final legal entity is confirmed. No final registered name, address, or tax registration is currently stated here. Until counsel completes the operator mapping, this notice does not claim a final legal entity or jurisdictional compliance status.

A creator-key application is ordinary email. It is not stored in the service database. This notice does not claim an automatic deletion date for that mailbox.

2. Data Processors & Transfer Mapping

The current service uses Vercel for the web app and its CDN, Supabase (PostgreSQL, hosted in Frankfurt, EU, eu-central-1) for application records, Neon object storage or Cloudflare R2 (Cloudflare, Inc., US; private bucket in the EU jurisdiction; used when the app runs on Cloudflare Workers) for the finished collage image when configured, optional Vercel Blob for older uploaded media when configured, and mempool.space for Bitcoin spot-price and transaction lookups. Those services may process data outside the jurisdiction where the uploader is located, and no separate transfer addendum is yet in place. The processor mapping and any transfer safeguards remain a launch review item.

  • Vercel: hosts the app. A public-pool image may stay in its CDN and in browsers for at most about 10 minutes. Private and priced images are not put in that shared CDN cache, but the viewer's own browser may keep its copy until the link expires (at most about 10 minutes).
  • Supabase (PostgreSQL, hosted in Frankfurt, EU, eu-central-1): stores collage records, payments, VIP invoices, flags, rate-limit data, and 18+ confirmation hashes.
  • Neon: when object storage is configured, Neon object storage holds the finished collage image.
  • Cloudflare, Inc. (United States): may host the app on Cloudflare Workers. There, a private Cloudflare R2 bucket in the EU jurisdiction holds the finished collage image under a random key; it has no public URL and images are served only through the app. Cloudflare may process request data, and may access stored data, from the United States, so a transfer to the US is possible; no separate transfer addendum is yet in place. Cloudflare Hyperdrive (the database connection service) carries the Worker's database queries and results to Supabase; its query cache is turned off. The image is removed from R2 immediately when the collage is deleted or removed. If a deletion fails, it is retried by the daily cleanup. An expired collage's image is deleted by the daily cleanup (00:00 UTC), or by the next daily run if that delete fails; that job also deletes R2 files under the collage prefixes that no longer have a collage row once they are more than an hour old, and R2 discards unfinished uploads after 1 day.
  • mempool.space: receives invoice addresses and spot-price requests while checking Bitcoin transactions.
  • Bitcoin network: a public chain that records payment data independently of this site.
  • Advertising partners (ExoClick, BongaCams, CrakRevenue): serve ads, affiliate banners, and popunders unless VIP is active, receive IP address and browser details under their own privacy policies, and may set cookies. fades.site sends them no photos, keys, or payment data.

Before a paid action, the interface shows the configured USD price, the mempool.space BTC/USD spot-rate source used when the invoice opens, the exact invoice amount once created, miner/network-fee responsibility, and the current absence of tax calculation. Refund or withdrawal requests use info@fades.site. The invoice-opening timestamp is shown with the active payment window and persisted with the pending invoice. After a confirmed paid collage or VIP purchase, the service writes an internal purchase confirmation containing the product, configured USD price, exact satoshi amount, destination address, transaction id, confirmation time, and VIP expiry where applicable. It is kept for 1 year from confirmation, then deleted. It is not emailed, identity-linked, or presented as a final merchant receipt; the delivery format and operator details remain launch blockers.

3. Abuse & Illegal Content Reporting (Notice and Take-Down)

fades.site does not tolerate illegal or harmful use. Explicit adult content is allowed only when the person shown posts it, or the uploader has that adult's documented consent. Photographs of minors, non-consensual intimate imagery, and other illegal content are not allowed. The site does not check that consent before the collage is posted. If your photos were posted without your consent, use Report Misuse / Request Deletion on the collage and choose Request of removal, or email abort@fades.site. That report path is unchanged. A report that someone is under 18 deletes the collage immediately; its stored image is removed from photo storage (including Cloudflare R2) immediately. If a deletion fails, it is retried by the daily cleanup. Collages are compiled automatically and are not pre-screened. A paid collage stays private behind its key. An unpaid collage enters the public random pool only when the creator chooses that release. A timer permanently deletes unpaid media. It does not publish it. The creator can also purge their session's media for free, without a Bitcoin invoice. A 20-minute grace period starts when a matching payment is first seen, so expiry cannot delete that collage until the period ends or the payment is claimed.

If a collage infringes your privacy or intellectual property, or is harassment or doxxing, email abort@fades.site with: the URL or 10-character key, why you say the material is illegal, and a way to reply to you. A collage someone has started to pay for can exist twice for a while: the public key, and a pending private key. The private row's session_token is that private key, not a user account. Name either key. To decide the report, a signed-in operator may open that collage, including a pending or paid private copy. The look is to identify illegal or rule-breaking material, then delete it or leave it. We do not keep a second copy of the photographs, and we do not treat that access as a search of every collage. The same operator can delete the public row, the private copy, and the files from the dashboard, and can mark a pending private collage paid. That mark is an operator decision. It is not proof that a Bitcoin payment arrived. Do not attach more photographs than needed to identify the collage. A valid report is deleted the same day, not held for the nightly purge.

A moderator with a valid moderator session may read the report key, category, and narrative only to mark the report reviewed or escalated. Moderators cannot open the reported collage from this queue or delete it, ban a creator, verify a payment, complete VIP access, read audit events, or manage roles; those actions remain administrator-only. Do not put unnecessary personal data in a report or export, copy, or reuse report information for another purpose.

Report and review records are retained for 90 days from creation and then deleted by the daily purge. An administrator can apply a legal hold that pauses deletion; only the hold state and timestamp are stored, and the hold must be released when preservation is no longer required. The moderator queue shows only the latest 30 days, which is separate from the 90-day retention period. A request concerning a report record should use the data-request route below and identify the relevant collage key; the operator must assess it without disclosing another person's report or material.

4. Data Requests & Verification

Send access, erasure, objection, restriction, or correction requests to abort@fades.site. Include the relevant public URL or 10-character key, the request you are making, and whether you are the uploader, a person depicted, or an authorised representative. For an uploader request, the private key or a still-valid creator session is the available proof of control. For a depicted person or representative, explain the connection to the material and provide only the minimum information needed to assess the request; do not send additional photographs or identity documents unless we specifically request a secure alternative.

We verify that a request identifies the relevant material and does not disclose a private collage to an unrelated requester. We may ask for clarification or refuse a request that cannot be verified, while preserving a reported item only as long as necessary to assess it. A verified abuse or privacy request can result in immediate deletion of the public and linked private copies; deletion is not reversible. We respond through the contact method supplied with the request where possible, but the anonymous service cannot send a receipt to an address it was never given.

5. Limitation of Liability

The fades.site application is provided as-is. The operators do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Mandatory consumer and data-protection rights are not waived. See the Terms for the liability cap that the law allows. If 100 unpaid Bitcoin payments are already open, the oldest unpaid private collage is deleted automatically so a new payment can start. That deletion is not a takedown and cannot be undone.

6. VIP access

VIP is an optional prepaid service for a configurable number of included premium (paid) private collages per UTC day, higher creation and random-discovery limits, and a configurable page-view range. The available packages are one day, one week, one month, and one year. The current duration, price, upload limit, random-open cooldown, premium collage allowance, and regular/VIP page-view ranges are shown on the VIP page before payment. The allowance is 5 premium private collages per UTC day. The operator may change the values offered for future purchases; a confirmed pass keeps the package duration purchased.

VIP is not a subscription and does not renew. It includes the premium private collages shown before payment (5 per UTC day) for collages this session creates. It does not unlock another person's private collage, increase another creator's view limit, bypass a ban or a full lockdown, or permit prohibited uploads. Private collages beyond the daily allowance still require their own payment. Access starts only when the exact Bitcoin payment is confirmed. Buying another package while one is active adds the new period to the existing expiry date.

The pass is attached to the browser owner session, not an account and not the request IP. Save the recovery code. Restoring that code carries the pass to another device or network. Purging the session ends the pass. A pass bought earlier on a hashed IP stays on that hash until a session from the same network links it once. After that link, only the session has the pass, and other visitors on the IP lose it.

EU/EEA consumers may withdraw from the unused portion of a VIP period within 14 days of confirmation by contacting info@fades.site. Access ends when the request is received. Time already made available is charged and only the unused share is refundable. Because Bitcoin transfers cannot be reversed on chain, any refund requires a Bitcoin address and is sent separately, less only the network fee. A fully completed period cannot be withdrawn. Remaining access may be ended without refund when the pass is used for prohibited or illegal content.

VIP invoices are retained only as needed for payment confirmation, access accounting, disputes, and withdrawal requests. Unpaid invoices expire after the configured payment window (24 hours), or sooner if payment capacity is full. Confirmed records are retained for up to 12 months after access ends and then purged.

7. Access controls

The ordinary lockdown can be bypassed by an active VIP pass. A separate full-lockdown mode can only be bypassed by authenticated tester, moderator, or administrator roles. Tester keys are confidential operational credentials: they bypass payment, rate-limit, and lockdown checks for testing, but never authorize access to another person's private collage. Role cookies are short-lived and may be revoked.

8. Adults-only entry

Opening the site shows an 18+ confirmation unless this connection already has an unexpired confirmation. Confirming stores only the SHA-256 hash of the request IP, the confirmation time, and a 24-hour expiry. It is a self-declaration. It is not an identity document check and it does not prove age. The page is shown again when that row is missing or expired. Terms, privacy, this notice, and the other text-only information pages (How it works, For creators, FAQ, Referrals, kink guides (/kinks)) stay reachable before confirmation and show no collage images. The daily purge deletes expired rows. A request to delete a live confirmation can be sent to abort@fades.site.

9. Owner sessions, recovery, and purge

Ownership of tributes, targets, and collages is an ephemeral browser session cookie. A recovery code is shown once when the session is first created. That code never expires. Pasting it re-issues the same httpOnly cookie and restores control.

Restoring the session lets the owner purge their tributes, targets, and collages. Records required for compliance, payment accounting, legal holds, or abuse reports are retained for the periods stated elsewhere in this notice. A collage that has been selected for a milestone cannot be purged by the owner until the end of the next UTC day after selection. An administrator can remove that selection; the system then selects another collage that was tagged for the same tag on the same day, if one exists. This is documented in the session panel and at the point of tagging.

Tribute tags follow the UTC calendar day. A tag is active only on the UTC day it is created and stops being active at 00:00 UTC. The same tag can be created again on a later UTC day; its totals and milestones then start again from zero. A tribute counts for the day its invoice was opened, even if the payment confirms after 00:00 UTC. The home page shows the previous UTC day’s ranking; the tribute dashboard shows the current UTC day’s ranking and the tags active today. An unpaid tribute invoice is deleted 7 days after it expires. A paid tribute, including an optional display name, is deleted 1 year after confirmation. This session can purge an unpaid invoice immediately and a paid tribute 24 hours after confirmation.

Tagging a public collage (whether created by the tagger or by someone else) requires an explicit extra consent checkbox. The collage must already be public, and the tag must be active that day. Tagging does not change the collage’s original retention rules except that a milestone selection keeps the collage until the end of the next UTC day after selection, after which normal view limits apply again unless it is selected again. While that selection lasts, the page-views limit does not apply and the owner cannot purge the collage, unless an administrator replaces the selection.
